I will be honest: I don’t like sports. But if the girl wanna eat, she gotta move her backside, don’t she?
So I’m training to run 10k.
what’s my plan to action?
1) I am using a 10k training found on the Lucozade website ( http://www.lucozadesport.com/running/ ). Much better than freestyling it, trust me.
2) I am measuring my runs using mapmyrun app. It has a gps tracker and a voice that lets you know how you are doing. Cool!
Tonight is the night, it’s pasta night!
How to describe this dish… It’s a broken lasagna pasta with a (too) spicy tomato sauce, shavings of carrots, topped with thin slices of brie.
Sunny sunday, I never thought this will happen ever again!
So today I ran 5k in a beautiful natural reserve, and then ate a roast dinner (with cider please) at a very nice pub.
A perfect sunday indeed!
The weekend has FINALLY arrived.
This week has been very tough at work and nothing is more welcomed than a pint of beer.
For those trying to cut down on booze, I found a good article on alcohol-free alternatives.
Personally, I do agree that a good ginger beer or a tonic water are a good substitute for when I don’t fancy a drink.
Read this article here and have a good weekend!
“You should eat three meals and two snacks a day“, “you should always have breakfast“, “you should stop eating sugar after 5pm“…
Everybody always has an opinion on what and when to eat.
But what about listening to our body?
After all, the body knows what it needs to survive – if it needs iron, then we get chocolate cravings.
So this week, I gave myself the Listen to your body challenge.
It consists of NO RESTRICTION, as long as the body really wants it.
Well… mixed result, really. I am good all day, but comes the evening, and I stop listening… I’ve got an excuse though: this week was particularly tough at work and I am under lots of pressure. Is that a good excuse? Maybe not. I think I need to learn to control my appetite after work.
I’ll definitely go back to this challenge. I first need to tackle my evening cravings.
I asked myself the same question, and I ended up like those women in the advert. “Hmmmm…..”
I know what my husband likes on my body, I know what my friends like. But what do I like? Good question.
What do you like on your body?

My mum likes to set up the table nicely, to use beautiful cutlery and to plate up the nicely elegantly. She likes it because she says that the food journey starts with the eyes.
Here is an example of nice arty food.
